Jasmine K Kara is an artist, educator, and youth advocate whose work spans music, learning, and community leadership.
Her musical collaborations include projects with international producers such as Rishi Rich (The Ishq Remix, 2022) and Karl Wolf (Shukran, 2023), the latter created in support of UNICEF’s humanitarian efforts. In recognition of her alignment with global humanitarian causes, she was invited to perform “Shukran” at the 2024 Aga Khan Foundation World Partnership Walk, an event dedicated to international development. She was also nominated for Best International Artist 2024 at the UK Bhangra Awards for her contributions to cross-cultural music.
Alongside her artistic work, Jasmine serves as a Director at SLI The Sidney Ledson School and as Chair of Mensa Canada’s Gifted Youth Committee, where she leads national programming for advanced learners. Her leadership within the gifted community has earned her two Mensa Canada President’s Awards, reflecting her commitment to creating meaningful opportunities and building international partnerships that benefit young people.
Jasmine also collaborates closely with the University of Toronto, where she has been invited to speak on effective school leadership and works with faculty to arrange and supervise teacher-training placements. In addition, she guides marketing and business students through real-world applied projects connected to education and community development.
Her academic background spans psychology, investment studies, data science, machine learning, school management, and business leadership, with advanced studies through both Harvard Business School and the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She has also conducted independent research on the optimal temporal distribution of study for elementary-aged learners, informing her approach to curriculum design and student success.
Jasmine’s advocacy extends to animal rights and environmental sustainability, themes she integrates into her educational leadership and community initiatives.
